The challenge

American Interior Systems has nearly 40 years of experience, but its website looked decades old: a fixed-width layout, almost no imagery, nothing showing the installations its own crews complete, and no easy way to call or text for a quote from a phone.

The result

AIS now has a site that matches its reputation: built for phones, easy to scan, and pointed at the call or text that starts every job.

Solution

  • Responsive redesign with a clear headline, trust stats, and call and text-to-quote buttons up front
  • Product categories organized from storage and racking to dock, shop, safety, and office equipment, linked to the online catalog
  • Services rewritten around consulting, assembly and installation, and custom fabrication
  • Installations portfolio with 18 project photos in a full-screen gallery
  • Trusted-by section featuring long-time customers like Hill Air Force Base, the State of Utah, and Rio Tinto Kennecott
  • Dedicated manufacturer links, about, and contact pages

Project narrative

Overview

American Interior Systems is a Sandy, Utah company providing storage, material handling, and work-area solutions, with installation done by its own crews. It represents many leading manufacturers and is also a retailer for Global Industrial.

Problem

The old website hadn't changed in years. It was a narrow, fixed-width page with a few lines of text, a menu of links, and very little to show what the company actually does. On a phone it was hard to read, and there was nothing showing the installations that prove the team's experience.

Solution

  • A clean, responsive design built around a strong headline and the company's price-match promise
  • Clear call and text buttons on every page
  • A product directory covering storage and racking, material handling, dock, shop, packaging, safety, office, outdoor, and facility maintenance
  • Services organized into consulting, assembly and installations, and customized fabrication
  • An installations gallery of real project photos
  • A trusted-by list of long-standing customers

Technical approach

  • Lightweight static pages for fast loads on any device
  • Hosted on Vercel with automatic SSL and an apex-to-www redirect
  • Optimized thumbnails with full-size images loaded on demand
  • Social preview metadata so shared links look right

Outcome

AIS now has a site that matches its reputation: built for phones, easy to scan, and pointed at the call or text that starts every job.

Proof

Real installations, front and center

Pallet racking, cantilever racking, and warehouse builds by the AIS crews now have their own gallery, so customers can see the work before they call.

Conversion

One tap to call or text

Every page leads to a phone call or a text, the way AIS customers actually reach out, alongside the price-match promise that sets the business apart.
